Dr. Nitin Khandelwal is a highly experienced and dedicated consultant critical care physician and intensivist with a special interest in cardiology and diabetology. He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, in 2002, and has over 21 years of experience in the medical field.

Dr. Khandelwal is a member of several prestigious medical associations, including IMA, AMF, and ISCCM. He specializes in providing advanced life support to patients who require mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and renal replacement therapy, and is skilled to perform ECHO Cardiography to treat conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Additionally, he is well-versed in ECMO treatment.

As a diabetologist, Dr. Khandelwal is specialized in managing diabetes and its complications. He works closely with his patients to help them manage their blood sugar levels through diet, exercise, medication, and insulin therapy. He also helps patients prevent and manage the complications of diabetes, such as diabetic neuropathy, retinopathy, and nephropathy.

Dr. Khandelwal has recently been appointed as the managing director of VIMS multispeciality hospital in Nagpur, and he is also slated to become the upcoming president of AMF Nagpur during the financial year 2024-25.
